Behind The Swim Edit

Jaime is a multi-time Ironman finisher with a deep background in endurance sports, including numerous Half-Iron and Olympic-distance triathlons.

In recent years, she has shifted her focus to long-distance open-water swimming, completing a 14km race in Italy as well as 10km swims in Croatia and Ibiza—where she qualified for the Oceanman World Championships in Dubai during her very first 10km event. She has also raced multiple 5km swims, including earning a second-place finish at the Hallstättersee Swim Marathon.

Jaime holds Level 1 certifications with U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) and the World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA), grounding her expertise in both formal training and lived experience.

An American living in Germany, she blends a love of adventure with a passion for approachable, everyday fitness. Through The Swim Edit, Jaime shares insights, gear recommendations, and inspiration aimed at helping more people discover confidence, joy, and strength in the water. Her mission is simple: make the sport of swimming more accessible, informed, and fun for everyone.
